I'm Prince Varshney, an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), selected through the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2022. My route here wasn't a straight line — it was built on years of deep work in commerce, finance, and a stubborn belief that the right guidance can change where a person ends up.
Before the services, I spent six years in practice as a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in 2017. Along the way I earned a JRF in Commerce (UGC-NET, 99.6 percentile), an M.Com in Finance & Taxation, and an Executive credential from IIM Kozhikode — and I was also selected as an Assistant Director at the Sports Authority of India. Each step taught me something different about discipline, decision-making, and how to learn under pressure.
